Every piece we make is cut to fit together neatly. When making barrels that hold water, we aim for the perfect fit.

The average piece of wood has 5 -6 different cuts to make it fit well. Cut to length, plane, bevel, joint and dado/channel cut. Each step exposes the beautiful cedar grain.

Many of our outdoor pieces are treated with tung oil. Tung oil comes from the tung tree, pressed from the seed of it's fruit.  It is a natural, food safe oil that helps repel water while enhancing the natural grain.

Some of our larger projects may need to be assembled at site.  We work with the customer to provide a flexible schedule.

Our smaller barrels are held together by stainless steel bands.  These bands are custom cut and hand riveted for each project.
